Canadian Association of Management Consultants (CAMC)

The Association promotes a professional community of management consultants where members can exchange ideas and share experiences. Our members have unique opportunities to learn from each other and gain a competitive edge. They know more about the changes taking place in their discipline, and in the consulting industry. As a result, our members are well rounded and well informed. In addition, our members have made a commitment to the highest professional standards and best practices. Every member must abide by the Association's stringent Uniform Code of Professional Conduct. The Association administers the CMC designation in Canada, and actively promotes it to the client community. Members who choose to pursue the CMC have made a commitment to enhancing their skills to the highest level. As the single voice of management consulting in Canada, we advocate on behalf of our members for the development of relevant and timely public policy at all levels of government. We strive to be an active and visible force in addressing the issues that affect our business and our profession. Professional membership in the Association is available to any Canadian resident who is a practicing management consultant or has an interest in advancing the profession. Student membership is open to full-time students at a recognized University and to Community College students who possess a University degree. All members must acknowledge and agree to abide by the Association's Uniform Code of Professional Conduct. The Association has affiliation agreements with Canada's professionally regulated Institutes of Certified Management Consultants. As a founding member of the International Council of Management Consulting Institutes - the profession's international standards body - many of the Certifying Institutes from around the world look to the Association as a source of leadership in defining, educating and certifying management consultants.
